The Sacramento Kings announced plans to sign Daniel Batcho to an Exhibit 10 contract, joining Jameer Nelson Jr. and Jaylin Williams in the team’s training camp roster. The move, confirmed by James Ham via X, signals the Kings’ intent to build depth while sending potential prospects to the Stockton Kings in the G League.

Batcho, 23, was part of Sacramento’s Summer League roster and brings experience from his college career at Texas Tech and La Lumiere (LT). Over 116 career college games, he averaged 10.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per contest.

The Exhibit 10 deal allows Batcho to compete for a roster spot while providing flexibility for the Kings to assign him to Stockton for further development. The team hopes that all three signees will see significant minutes in the G League this season.

Sacramento’s roster currently stands at the league maximum of 21 players as it heads into training camp under new head coach Doug Christie. Christie, hired on May 1, will oversee integrating Batcho and other young talent into the Kings’ rotation.

Batcho’s size and efficiency make him a promising prospect. In his senior season at LT, he averaged 16.7 points on 68.9% shooting while contributing 6.4 rebounds per game, demonstrating his ability to score efficiently in the paint.
