The Sacramento Kings are continuing to round out their training camp roster, bringing in guard Jameer Nelson Jr. and forward Jaylin Williams on Exhibit 10 contracts, according to Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot.
For Nelson, basketball runs in the family. The 6’1” guard is the son of longtime NBA veteran Jameer Nelson, who played over a decade in the league.
After a five-year college career that ended at TCU, Nelson went undrafted in 2024 despite putting together a solid senior season in which he averaged 11.2 points, 3.3 assists, and 2.1 steals per game.
He spent part of last year with the Austin Spurs in the NBA G League, posting 11.3 points and 2.3 assists per contest, before moving north to the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
Suiting up for the Calgary Surge, Nelson showed further growth, increasing his production to 20.1 points and 4.2 assists per game.
Williams, meanwhile, is a 25-year-old forward out of Auburn – not to be confused with Oklahoma City’s Jaylin Williams from Arkansas.
He played last season with the Grand Rapids Gold of the G League, where he averaged 8.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in about 19 minutes per game.
More recently, Williams appeared with the Mavericks’ 2025/26 Summer League squad, logging three games and averaging 3.0 points and 4.3 boards across 17 minutes per outing.
Both players join Sacramento on Exhibit 10 deals, a type of training camp contract that can be converted into a two-way deal or provide a financial incentive if the players ultimately land in the G League.
If Nelson or Williams are waived before the start of the NBA season but spend at least 60 days with Sacramento’s affiliate, the Stockton Kings, they’ll be eligible for bonuses worth up to $85,300.
