Olympiacos has recently reached a buyout deal, which is now finally official.

French guard Frank Ntilikina transferred to Olympiacos after paying Partizan a €300,000 buyout, per Eurohoops on X.

Olympiacos purposely obtained Ntilikina since there was a roster spot due to the absence of the injured guard, Keenan Evans.

The ex-NBA player was formerly regarded as one of France’s brightest young prospects, as he also got drafted eighth overall by the New York Knicks in 2017.

He spent four years with the Knicks, then moved to the Dallas Mavericks in 2021. After that, he transferred to the Charlotte Hornets, being the last team on his NBA stint in the 2023-2024 season.

The 27-year-old jumped to return to Europe and signed with Partizan, contributing to their ABA League championship run.

As the deal was already finalized, many expectations from Ntilikina to contribute to a Greek team came from different experiences, such as also being a lottery pick in the 2017 NBA draft.
