The Dallas Mavericks have officially added free agent guard D’Moi Hodge, as reported by Grant Afseth of DAL Hoops Journal on Twitter.

While the contract details were not disclosed, it is expected to be an Exhibit 10 training camp invite, similar to other recent additions.

Hodge, who went undrafted in 2023, appeared in seven games with the Lakers during the 2023/24 season, averaging 2.0 points in 5.9 minutes per contest.

Last season, he competed in the Greek League, contributing 7.1 points, 1.9 assists, and 1.5 steals per EuroLeague game.

While his three-point shooting has been inconsistent, he did make 35.4% of attempts from beyond the arc during 30 games in the G League as a rookie.

Dallas currently carries 19 players on its roster, 14 of whom are on fully guaranteed contracts.

Hodge is expected to compete for backcourt minutes alongside Dennis Smith Jr., signed yesterday, as the Mavericks prepare for the 2025-26 season while star guard Kyrie Irving recovers from a torn ACL.

If waived by Dallas but spending at least 60 days with the team’s G League affiliate, the Texas Legends, Hodge would be eligible for a bonus of up to $85,300.
