The Los Angeles Clippers have released their 2025–26 preseason schedule, featuring a four-game slate that begins with an international opponent from the Chinese Basketball Association.
The preseason opener will be held on October 9 against the Guangzhou Loong Lions at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m., marking the Clippers’ first exhibition contest since being eliminated in the first round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs by the Denver Nuggets.
Los Angeles will return to its home floor at Intuit Dome on October 12 for a rematch against Denver at 6:00 p.m. This will be the first time the two teams face each other since their playoff series, which ended the Clippers’ 2024–25 campaign.
The schedule then shifts to the road, with a visit to Sacramento to play the Kings on October 15 at 7:00 p.m. Los Angeles will close out its preseason on October 17 against the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco, also at 7:00 p.m.
This preseason will be the franchise’s second in Inglewood following the move to the newly built Intuit Dome. Last season, Los Angeles went through a year of roster adjustments, including the departure of Paul George. This upcoming season will see addition of veterans such as Bradley Beal, Brook Lopez, and Chris Paul.
The Clippers’ 2024–25 regular season was marked by injuries, including Kawhi Leonard’s extended absence due to knee inflammation, leaving James Harden to lead the offense for much of the year. Despite these challenges, the team secured its third straight playoff berth.
