Barcelona are two games clear of Valencia at the top of the Liga Endesa table after the latter slipped up against Sevilla, while the Catalan side enjoyed an easy 84-57 success over Manresa.

A lacklustre Valencia lost 92-82 to a well-drilled Sevilla side as Scott Bamforth paced the winners with 16 points.

It’s Valencia’s fourth loss of the campaign and they are now one game ahead of Real Madrid after the current league champions defeated UCAM Murcia 104-99 in an exhilarating match-up.

Sergio Rodriguez didn’t have the greatest shooting night but connected on all 13 of his free throws, en route to 17 points, a feat equalled by Sergio Llull to lead Real.

The loss drops Murcia to tenth place in a hotly contested eighth and final Playoff spot, which is now occupied by Tenerife as they beat Laboral Kutxa 93-80.

Nicolas Ricotti led Tenerife with 19 points.

Bilbao still has an interest in the eight seed as they defeated Fuenlabrada 86-71 at home. Georgios Bogris hit 16 points and pulled down six rebounds in victory.

Andorra faint hopes of a Playoff spot were all but dashed as they were stunned 83-80 on the road to basement side Gipuzkoa.

The other two sides in the Playoff picture both won over the weekend as Unicaja Malaga beat Joventut Badalona 70-59 and Gran Canaria were 80-68 road winners to Rio Monbus.

And Zaragoza inflicted an 81-62 loss to second from bottom Estudiantes as Robin Benzing collected 18 points and four rebounds in the win.
