The New Orleans Pelicans have officially announced several key additions to their basketball operations department, headlined by the hiring of Troy Weaver as the franchise’s new Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations.

Weaver, a respected executive with a wealth of experience across multiple NBA front offices, is expected to bring strategic leadership and a fresh perspective to the Pelicans’ decision-making processes.

In addition to Weaver, the team has also confirmed the appointment of Jason Hervey as Director of Player Personnel.

The Pelicans further announced Davis Smith as their new Basketball Operations Manager.
