The 2024–25 NBA season has been another tough chapter for the Charlotte Hornets, plagued once again by injuries and inconsistency.
One of the biggest setbacks came early in the year when forward Grant Williams suffered a torn ACL in his right knee in November, sidelining him for the remainder of the season.
Despite the personal and team struggles, Williams remains upbeat about his recovery and the road ahead.
Speaking to Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer, the veteran forward offered a hopeful progress report on his rehab journey.
“I’m feeling great, positive,” Williams said. “That’s really the one word that I’ve tried to stay consistent with throughout this whole process. … The team, they are not rushing me. They are just focused on making sure I get better every single day and taking it one day at a time. I’m trying my best just to stay focused on the moment, and attacking every single little thing with the right mentality and come back stronger than I was before.”
Williams has played 6 seasons for the Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets, and Dallas Mavericks.
He has averaged 7.2 points and 3.7 rebounds in 380 regular-season games.
