The Dallas Mavericks are set to upgrade Brandon Williams from his Two-Way contract to a full two-year NBA agreement.

This season, Williams has posted averages of 8.3 points and 2.4 assists per game, shooting 51.1% from the field and 37.9% from three-point range in 15 minutes of action.

Due to being hard-capped at the first apron, the Mavericks have been cautious about filling their last roster spot.

Williams, who went unpicked in the 2021 draft out of Arizona, began his NBA journey with the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2021-22 season.

He also suited up for the Mavericks in the 2023-24 season, playing in 17 games.
