Egor Demin, a freshman wing from BYU, plans to enter the 2025 NBA Draft early. ESPN’s most recent mock draft lists him as a potential lottery selection.
During his single season with the Cougars, Demin posted averages of 10.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
His shooting was inconsistent, with a field goal percentage of 41.2% and a three-point shooting rate of 27.3% on 4.7 attempts per game.
NBA scouts value Demin’s 6-foot-8 frame paired with his ability to orchestrate plays as a lead guard.
In BYU’s second-round NCAA Tournament victory against Wisconsin, the skilled ballhandler contributed 11 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists.
He later recorded 15 points and seven assists in the Cougars’ Sweet 16 defeat to Alabama.
