The Memphis Grizzlies are fully committed to securing long-term contracts for both Jaren Jackson Jr. and Santi Aldama as they head into the offseason, aiming to solidify their core for the future.

Jackson has been a key contributor this season, posting impressive averages of 22.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game.

His strong performance earned him an All-Star selection, further cementing his value to the franchise.

Jackson’s path to an extension could be relatively straightforward if he is named to an All-NBA team, making him eligible for a more lucrative deal.

Alternatively, he could be a candidate for a renegotiation-and-extension contract, allowing the Grizzlies to restructure his current deal while securing him for the long haul. Jackson is represented by agents Austin Brown and Max Saidman.

Aldama has also emerged as a key piece in Memphis’ rotation, averaging 12.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game.

As he approaches restricted free agency this summer, the Grizzlies will have the opportunity to match any offers he receives, giving them a strong chance to retain him.

Aldama, like Jackson, is represented by CAA, which will handle negotiations on his behalf.

By prioritizing extensions for both Jackson and Aldama, Memphis is looking to maintain stability and continuity within their roster, ensuring they remain competitive in the seasons to come.
