Sacramento Kings interim head coach Doug Christie doesn’t believe motivation is useful right now to end the regular season (1 game ahead of the Phoenix Suns for the final Western Conference play-in spot).

“The fact that we’re in a playoff run, if I have to motivate them, we’re in a tough spot. So I shouldn’t have to motivate them, this is crunch-time in basketball at the highest level in the world. So, motivation should not be the thing that we’re talking about right now.”
