The Minnesota Timberwolves have released an official injury update regarding forward Julius Randle, who sustained a right groin strain during their game against the Utah Jazz on Thursday, January 30. The injury occurred at the 10:12 mark of the second quarter.
Following an MRI performed at Mayo Clinic by Dr. Kelechi Okoroha, it was confirmed that Randle has a right adductor strain. A second opinion from Dr. Benjamin Domb of the American Hip Institute corroborated the initial diagnosis.
Randle will be re-evaluated in two weeks, and the Timberwolves will share additional updates on his recovery as they become available.
