Norman Powell scored 22 points, and James Harden contributed 21 points and 12 assists as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 116-102 on Sunday night. The game marked the Lakers’ first visit to the newly opened Intuit Dome, and the Clippers improved to 24-17 on the season while snapping the Lakers’ two-game winning streak.

Kawhi Leonard added 19 points in just 24 minutes and surpassed 14,000 career points during the third quarter. Ivica Zubac dominated inside with 21 points and 19 rebounds, helping the Clippers maintain control throughout the game. The victory marked the Clippers’ fourth consecutive win.

LeBron James led the Lakers with 25 points and 11 assists, while Rui Hachimura scored 19 points. Anthony Davis, returning from a one-game absence due to plantar fasciitis, posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds but struggled to match Zubac’s presence in the paint.

The Clippers seized the momentum in the third quarter, building a 26-point lead behind Leonard’s eight consecutive points. Leonard, who is on a minutes restriction, did not play in the fourth quarter but had already made his impact felt.

The Clippers’ bench also delivered key contributions. Nicolas Batum scored six points, and Kevin Porter Jr. added eight. Meanwhile, the Lakers received a spark from Dalton Knecht, who scored 10 points in just 16 minutes. Despite the effort, the Lakers never reclaimed the lead after scoring the first basket of the game.
