The Los Angeles Lakers are gearing up to return to action tonight against the San Antonio Spurs after their January 9 and 11 home games were postponed due to the LA wildfires. However, the Lakers will take the floor with several key players listed on the injury report.

Both LeBron James and Anthony Davis are among the six players on the injury list ahead of the matchup. James is marked as probable with a left foot injury due to injury management. Davis, on the other hand, is listed as probable with left plantar fasciitis.

Other Lakers players affected include Jalen Hood-Schifino, who is out due to a left hamstring strain, and Jarred Vanderbilt, who remains out as he recovers from surgery on his right foot. Additionally, Christian Wood is also out after undergoing left knee surgery.

The Lakers’ injury report has left them with uncertainty around their full roster for tonight’s game. With the team’s stars dealing with injuries, it will be crucial for role players to step up.

On the other side, the Spurs have one player listed as questionable: Jeremy Sochan. Sochan is dealing with bilateral low back tightness and could be a game-time decision.

The Lakers, currently 20-16, sit sixth in the Western Conference and are hoping to secure a win against the Spurs, who are 18-19 and 12th in the standings.

The game is set to take place at Crypto.com Arena tonight at 7:30 PM PST.
