Jalen McDaniels is set to continue his basketball journey with the Capital City Go-Go, the G League affiliate of the Washington Wizards.

McDaniels, who was waived by the San Antonio Spurs during the preseason, now has an opportunity to showcase his skills and potentially earn a call-up back to the NBA.

Throughout his five-year NBA career, McDaniels has appeared in 248 games, playing for the Charlotte Hornets, Philadelphia 76ers, and Toronto Raptors.

Standing at 6-foot-9, the versatile forward has contributed an average of 6.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, often providing energy and defensive versatility off the bench.

The Toronto Raptors initially signed McDaniels to a two-year contract in the summer of 2023, signaling their belief in his potential to add depth to their roster.

However, during the offseason, the Raptors dealt McDaniels to the Sacramento Kings. Shortly after, he was traded again, this time from the Kings to the Spurs, in a financial move designed to help Sacramento reduce their luxury tax burden.

Despite these recent transitions, McDaniels now has the chance to reset and refine his game in the G League.

The Capital City Go-Go will provide him with a platform to continue developing and prove that he can be a valuable asset to NBA teams in need of a reliable and athletic forward.
