Chicago’s recent roster changes have yet to yield the desired results on the court this season. The Bulls currently hold a 3-6 record, and defensive struggles have been a recurring issue.

Despite these early challenges, Josh Giddey remains optimistic about the team’s potential, as noted by Collier.

“We’ve got pieces,” Giddey said. “It’s not like we’re starting from scratch. It’s a really talented group and whether that’s the first week or the 15th, or somewhere in between, we’ll be where we’re meant to be. We are all buying into what we’re trying to do here.”

Giddey, a fourth-year point guard, was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the sixth overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

Known for his exceptional playmaking ability and versatility, he quickly made an impact in his rookie season, averaging 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game, with a remarkable 54.9% true shooting percentage.

His court vision and basketball IQ were immediately evident, making him one of the league’s most promising young talents.

In his second season, Giddey increased his scoring to 16.6 points per game while maintaining strong rebounding and assist numbers, averaging 7.9 rebounds and 5.8 assists.
