The Washington Wizards have waived guard Erik Stevenson, a move that clears a spot on their preseason roster while keeping him within the organization’s developmental system.

Although Stevenson won’t be part of the Wizards’ final NBA roster, he is expected to join their G League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go, for the upcoming season.
