The Capital City Go-Go, the G League affiliate of the Washington Wizards, has announced the acquisition of Erik Stevenson’s returning rights from the Texas Legends, the G League team affiliated with the Dallas Mavericks.
In exchange, the Go-Go have sent a 2024 first-round pick and the returning rights to Jake Stephens to the Legends.
This move indicates that Stevenson, who previously played for the Wizards during the Summer League and had a notable college career at West Virginia, will likely join the Capital City Go-Go for the start of the 2024/25 season.
Additionally, Stevenson could be considered for a preseason Exhibit 10 contract, which would give him an opportunity to showcase his skills further and potentially secure a spot with the Wizards or their G League affiliate for the upcoming season.
