The Brooklyn Nets have signed Amari Bailey to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto.

Bailey, 20, was the 41st overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, selected by the Charlotte Hornets.

He played last season on a two-way contract with the Hornets, splitting time between the NBA and their G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm.

In the 2023 NBA Summer League, Bailey averaged 9 points in 16 minutes per game. At just 19 years old, he was one of the youngest players in the league.

Bailey made his NBA debut on November 12, 2023, in a game against the New York Knicks. During his rookie season, he appeared in 10 games for the Hornets, averaging 2.3 points in 6.5 minutes per game.

While Bailey’s NBA minutes were limited, he excelled in the G League with the Greensboro Swarm. In 23 games with the Swarm, Bailey averaged 19.3 points, 5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in 32.5 minutes per game.
