Mike Conley’s home was targeted by burglars while he was away in Minneapolis for a Minnesota Vikings game.
The break-in occurred at Conley’s expansive residence in Medina. Police confirmed that the burglary happened in the mid-afternoon.
According to Paul Walsh of The Minnesota Star Tribune, the incident was one of three burglaries carried out that day. Police Chief Jason Nelson reported that at least two suspects were involved in the thefts.
The burglars managed to steal an unspecified amount of jewelry from Conley’s home. Nelson suggested that the thieves might have conducted surveillance or identified patterns of the residents whose homes they targeted.
This break-in is part of a broader series of thefts in the area. The police are continuing their investigation to track down the suspects responsible.
The stolen items and the total value of the thefts remain undetermined. Authorities are working to gather more information and resolve the case.
