Mike Conley is not ready to retire yet, saying his playoff performances convinced him he can still contribute at a high level as he approaches a possible 20th NBA season.

The veteran guard is expected to return next year and continue his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves or elsewhere in the league.

Meanwhile, teammate Bones Hyland expressed a strong desire to remain in Minnesota after what he described as a positive fit with the organization following several stops earlier in his career.

“I feel like this is where I belong. I definitely want to come back,” Hyland said.

Conley has played 19 seasons for the Grizzlies, Timberwolves, and Jazz. He has averaged 13.6 points, 5.5 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in 1,226 regular-season games.

He was selected to play in 1 All-Star game.
