In a thrilling overtime battle against the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Jaylen Brown revealed that his game-tying three-pointer was part of a meticulously planned play.
Brown’s clutch shot with 6.1 seconds remaining in regulation propelled the Boston Celtics to a 133-128 victory over the Pacers, securing a crucial win on their home court.
“We drew up a play, and it was perfectly executed, I told Jrue [Holiday] I was going to be open in the corner, and I was,” Brown said postgame.
With Jayson Tatum leading the charge with an impressive 36-point performance, Brown’s timely three-pointer further solidified the Celtics’ resolve to clinch the win.
