Jaylen Brown anticipates seamless integration of Kristaps Porzingis into the Boston Celtics lineup.

Despite missing Porzingis, the Celtics advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Latvian forward has been sidelined with a calf injury since the first-round series against the Miami Heat.

Brown remains optimistic about Porzingis’ return. “We’ve had plenty of time. The way and the organization that we play and how we’ve wanted to implement him and get him involved … it’ll be a seamless transition as long as KP gets in shape … the reps, simulations in practice … I think he’ll be fine,” Brown said ahead of Game 1, via Bobby Manning.

Porzingis is expected to miss the first two games of the Conference Finals. His return is crucial for the Celtics as they face the Indiana Pacers.

Brown’s confidence stems from the team’s preparation and practice simulations. Porzingis’ integration into the lineup is expected to be smooth despite his lengthy absence.
