On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors are playing the Dallas Mavericks at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

During the game, Klay Thompson made NBA history by moving ahead of Kyle Korver (2,450) for sixth on the all-time three-pointers list.

Following Korver, the next player for him to pass will be Hall of Famer Reggie Miller (2,560).

Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson made history vs. Dallas. With his 2,451st career three-pointer, Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson moved into 6th place on the NBA’s all-time made threes list. Thompson’s historic three came early in Tuesday night’s game vs. the Dallas Mavericks, which is a huge one for Golden State.

Thompson has been back in the starting lineup for Golden State after coming off the bench for several games. The Warriors are hunting for their best lineup combinations as they try to remain in the playoffs, which will lead to fans’ interest at Mississippi sportsbooks. While Houston has lost two-straight games, they were on an 11-game winning streak that at one point pulled them within a half-game of Golden State.

While the 10th seed is certainly not where the Warriors want to be, it at least gives them a shot to win their way into a playoff spot in the play-in tournament. These two games against the Dallas Mavericks this week are big ones for the Warriors as they look to make their move up the standings.

The play of Thompson will be key for Golden State, as the best version of him is huge for this team – even at this point in his Hall-of-Fame career.
