Longtime NBA point guard Rajon Rondo confirmed his retirement as an NBA player during an appearance on the All the Smoke podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.

When asked by Barnes if his NBA career is over, Rondo responded with certainty, saying, “Absolutely,” and expressing his desire to prioritize spending time with his children.

At 38 years old, Rondo last played in the league during the 2021/22 season, appearing in a total of 39 games for the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers.
