Los Angeles Lakers icon LeBron James showered praise on former teammate Rajon Rondo for his exceptional basketball IQ.

In the premiere episode of the “Mind The Game” podcast co-hosted by James and retired NBA player JJ Redick, the Lakers superstar highlighted Rondo’s ability to read the game with precision.

Reflecting on their time together, James lauded Rondo’s remarkable capacity to make split-second decisions and adapt to changing game situations seamlessly.

The four-time NBA champion expressed his astonishment that Rondo has yet to pursue coaching at a high level, given his deep understanding of the game.

“Rajon Rondo. For sure. He can process flip, do things on the go. It’s very weird to me that he’s not coaching at a high level. I think it’s because he doesn’t want to do it,” James said.
