Julius Randle is making “positive progression” in his rehabilitation from a dislocated shoulder, as reported by Ian Begley of SNY. The Knicks are becoming more optimistic about the possibility of Randle returning this season.

Begley stated, “I’ve heard during this period that there’s been some positive progression here during the rehab, and I think that’s left people with even more reason to be optimistic that Randle will be back at some point this season.”

Randle is scheduled for an additional 2-3 weeks of rehabilitation. Following this period, a decision will be jointly made regarding whether Randle will return to play or opt for surgery, leading to him missing the remainder of the season.
