Danilo Gallinari has decided to join the Milwaukee Bucks, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Gallinari opted for the Bucks over other interested teams due to the opportunity to be part of coach Doc Rivers’ frontline rotation, a role he previously played for Rivers during his time with the Clippers from 2017 to 2019.

Gallinari, who sat out the entire previous season due to a torn ACL, is set to don his third Eastern Conference uniform this season. He played 26 games with the Wizards before being traded to the Pistons last month. After a brief stint with Detroit, where he participated in six games, he was waived after the trade deadline due to roster constraints.

Across these 32 games, Gallinari has averaged 7.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 14.8 minutes per game, with a shooting line of .451/.355/.850. Before being waived by the Pistons, he was on an expiring $6,802,950 contract.
