Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and Nikola Jokic showcased their firepower, combining for 80 points to lead the Denver Nuggets (36-16) to a 114-106 triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers (27-26) on Thursday night.

Murray led the charge with 29 points, supported by Porter Jr.’s 27-point performance and Jokic’s near triple-double of 24 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists, as the Nuggets extended their winning streak to three games.

Despite the Lakers’ spirited comeback efforts, Murray’s clutch shooting down the stretch, including a pivotal three-pointer and a floater, coupled with Porter Jr.’s timely scoring, secured the win for the Nuggets. The Nuggets maintained their composure and closed out the game with a decisive 10-2 run.

Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 32 points, while LeBron James contributed 25 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists in a losing effort for Los Angeles.

The Lakers struggled with guard depth after D’Angelo Russell and Max Christie both missed the game due to injuries.
