Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant thought rookie Scoot Henderson did a solid job controlling the tempo during Friday’s 134-128 home win vs. the San Antonio Spurs (22 points/career-high 7 rebounds/11 assists/1 steal/1 block/9-21 FG/3-5 3-PT/1-2 FT).

Reporter: “Scoot’s had ups and downs obviously, but this game seemed to be his most polished performance, especially as a playmaker. What’d you feel he did tonight?”

Grant: “He did amazing. He came in and controlled the tempo of the game. He’s figuring out when to be aggressive and when to pass. I think, like you said, tonight was one of his best games.”
