Chicago Bulls guard Coby White talked about his mindset when he entered the NBA after Saturday’s 124-118 home win vs. the New Orleans Pelicans (31 points/9 rebounds/6 assists/1 steal/10-17 FG/8-13 3-PT/3-3 FT/+6 +/-).

Reporter: “Do you feel like you’re becoming the player that you envisioned being?”

White: “No. Coming into the league, my main objective was to just get better every day, take it one day at a time. I knew coming into the league I had a lot to learn and I had a lot of room to grow, so I’ve never been a guy like, ‘Man, one day I’m going to be this, I’m going to be that.’ I just took it as like, ‘I’m just trying to get better every day, take advantage of every day, and do what I need to to stay consistent on and off the court.'”
