In a relentless display of talent, Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero led the Orlando Magic (14-5) to a 130-125 triumph over the struggling Washington Wizards (3-16), marking the Magic’s ninth consecutive win and tying a franchise record.

Wagner showcased his scoring prowess with an impressive 31 points, securing his third consecutive 30-point game, while Banchero delivered a stellar performance with 28 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists. The duo’s synergy proved too much for the Wizards to handle, sealing another victory for the Magic.

Despite a valiant effort from the Wizards’ Kyle Kuzma, who contributed 27 points, and Daniel Gafford, who posted a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, Washington struggled to contain the Magic’s offensive onslaught.

Orlando’s unselfish play was evident with 34 assists on 46 field goals, showcasing their teamwork and offensive efficiency.

The Wizards, now on a challenging stretch with 11 losses in their last 12 games, faced additional setbacks as Kyle Kuzma fouled out in the final minute.
