Desmond Bane: Me, Ja, and Jaren weren’t available enough together in Memphis

Orlando Magic shooting guard Desmond Bane was asked about the importance of getting game reps with Paolo Banchero & Franz Wagner before last night’s 132-125 preseason home win vs. the New Orleans Pelicans.

“It’s huge. It’s not a sprint though, it’s a marathon. We want everybody to be healthy and feeling good towards the end of the season, that’s the biggest thing. In Memphis — me, Ja [Morant], and Jaren [Jackson Jr.] — we didn’t get enough time on the floor together just with injuries and different things. So the more we can play together, the more chemistry we’ll have.”
