Head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies, Taylor Jenkins, incurred a $25,000 fine for openly expressing his criticism of NBA officials.

Jenkins voiced his discontent after the Grizzlies’ loss to the Utah Jazz on Friday night, highlighting the perceived imbalance in free throw opportunities and what he deemed as unfair calls against Jaren Jackson Jr. and Marcus Smart.

Despite rarely critiquing officials in the aftermath of games, Jenkins felt compelled to do so in this particular instance.
