The New Orleans Pelicans have officially signed 24-year-old guard Izaiah Brockington, who made appearances in two games with the Pelicans’ G League affiliate, the Birmingham Squadron, last season.

Brockington garnered attention during his senior season at Iowa State University. He was recognized with All-Big 12 First Team honors, averaging 16.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.

With a collegiate career spanning 125 games across St. Bonaventure, Penn State, and Iowa State, Brockington maintained a solid average of 10.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.

To make room for Brockington, the Pelicans have made the decision to waive Landers Nolley II.
