Since his recent acquisition by the Portland Trail Blazers in the Jrue Holiday trade, there have been speculations about Malcolm Brogdon’s future with the team.
Many assumed that Brogdon, a seasoned point guard, would prefer to join a contender rather than a team in rebuilding mode following the departure of Damian Lillard.
However, Brogdon has put those speculations to rest, expressing his desire to stay in Portland. He emphasized the mutual commitment between him and the Trail Blazers.
“They want me here, I want to be here. There’s a lot of misleading information out there about they need to trade me or I want to go… I’m embracing being here,” Brogdon said, per Casey Holdahl.
