In a World Cup marked by notable absences, AS Monaco big man Donatas Motiejunas returns to a major tournament with Lithuania after skipping last year’s Eurobasket.
This comeback holds significance, given Motiejunas’ prior absence due to a dispute with the previous Lithuanian federation management.
“Wonderful, amazing, I waited for this so long I am really happy, I am happy for the guys, I am happy for the newcomers that had an amazing game, it’s all love, it’s all passion for this game, for the national team for my country,” Motiejunas said.
