In a recent interview on the Pat Bev Pod, Draymond Green didn’t hold back when discussing his new teammate, Chris Paul. The two veteran players have a long history of clashing on the court, and there has been no secret of the animosity between them. However, this offseason saw 38-year-old Paul join the Warriors, which means they will now be teammates.

Green was very upfront about his feelings towards Paul, stating, “There is no sugar coating what has happened all of these years. This is real life, man. People get it twisted, like ‘Ah man, you’re a character…’ This is real life we living when we play in these games. To just go front and act like all of those things were fake, I’ve publicly said I didn’t like Chris [Paul] before.

“I’m just not going to be like, ‘Ah man that’s changed, now he’s my teammate,’ no, I look forward to talking amongst men. I look forward to working with another adult. I’ve had my fair share of days of not working with adults and people who don’t move like adultsI look forward to going to work with an adult.”

Despite their past conflicts, Green acknowledges the reality of the situation and looks forward to working with Paul as adults. With both players bringing their immense talents to the Warriors, their dynamic on the court will undoubtedly be one to watch.
