The Golden State Warriors, known for their pursuit of NBA titles, have set their sights on conquering the league’s new In-Season tournament, as revealed by team president Brandon Schneider during a recent interview.

Schneider shed light on the team’s approach to the midseason competition during the Warriors’ preseason game against the Sacramento Kings, per NBC Sports Bay Area.

He shared a conversation with Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy, where Dunleavy recounted Draymond Green and Chris Paul’s determination to clinch the tournament.

When asked about the in-season event, Dunleavy’s response was emphatic, citing Green and Paul’s commitment to securing the victory.

“I said to [Warriors general manager] Mike Dunleavy about a month ago, I said, ‘Hey Mike, what do you think about this in-season tournament?’ He said, ‘Well, Draymond Green and Chris Paul told me we’re going to win it.’ I said, ‘OK, that’s all I needed to know,'” Schneider said.
