The Trail Blazers have officially signed second-round pick Rayan Rupert to his first NBA contract, the team announced today in a press release.
Rupert played for the New Zealand Breakers last season as part of the Next Stars program in Australia’s National Basketball League.
A broken wrist limited him to 20 regular season games, in which he averaged 6.6 PPG and 2.5 RPG on 36.4% shooting.
