The Memphis Grizzlies officially signed guard Rayan Rupert to a two-way deal, filling an available roster slot, according to NBA insider Shams Charania. Rupert, a 2023 second-round pick, appeared in five games for the team on a 10-day contract earlier this season.

Rupert, 21, averaged 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 26.8 minutes per game during his brief stint with Memphis. His shooting splits included 45.2% from the field and 35.3% from three-point range.

Before joining the Grizzlies, Rupert played 48 games with the Portland Trail Blazers in 2025-26, posting 2.9 points per game and 1.8 rebounds while seeing limited minutes.

He also played in the G League, averaging 12.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists over three games for the Rip City Remix.

Memphis currently sits at 23-37 in the Western Conference, struggling to climb out of the lower playoff tiers.
