Steph Curry will have one more future Hall of Famer on his team next season after the Warriors traded for Chris Paul earlier this offseason.

The two point guards have a history between them having thought in multiple playoff series throughout their career. Curry was asked recently what he expects from having Paul as his teammate.

“It’s going to be amazing,” the four-time NBA champion said on Through The Wire podcast. “It’s obviously a big change considering all the history that we’ve had before and me and him going way back to the North Carolina days, him kind of being my mentor when I was coming out of the college and being able to workout with him and learning the rope.

“One thing about CP is he makes teams that he’s on better and I think for us that’s why the move was made. It’s just an opportunity for us to try to compete at the highest level and get back to championship level team and making the pieces fit. Just excited about the unknown and the opportunity behind it. It’s going to be a lot of high IQ guys in the locker room trying to figure it out.”
