Former NBA player Stephen Jackson unleashed on Ja Morant after the Grizzlies star was recorded displaying a gun on Instagram Live.
The 23-year-old point guard had already been suspended by Memphis during the regular season for a similar incident. Jackson was one those who defended Morant then.
“All the people like me that was taking up for him… We can’t go to bat for him this time. This was dumbest thing he could’ve done. This is a moron move. His parents should be embarrassed,” Jackson said on I AM ATHLETE podcast, via ClutchPoints.
The Grizzlies have suspended Morant again. It remans to be seen if any further action will be taken against him. Former NBA player Chandler Parsons called for Morant to be suspended for the whole year.
