After he was initially listed as questionable to play on their crucial Game 6 against the Phoenix Suns this Thursday, Jamal Murray “should be good to go” amid his non-COVID illness, per head coach Michael Malone (h/t The Denver Post’s Bennett Durando).
According to Malone, Murray has been already dealing with the illness for the past few days, with the rest of the Nuggets also experiencing a “bug” regarding their wellness.
With Murray seems set to be active, he is expected to produce as Denver only needs one more win to stamp a ticket to the Conference Finals. As such, his current condition can certainly affect his game with Phoenix looking to force a do-or-die Game 7 back in Colorado on the other hand.
In five games against the Suns this series, Murray is averaging 24.6 points, 7.0 assists, 5.0 boards.
