The Lakers are just a single win away from reaching conference finals after defeating the Warriors in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals (104-101).

LeBron James (27 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists), Anthony Davis (23 points, 15 rebounds) and Austin Reaves (21 points, 4 assists) led the winners in scoring as they took a 3-1 lead in the series.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham revealed the message that James sent to the team in the fourth quarter that brought everyone together.

“Our team captains talking through coverages, matchups. LeBron in particular,” Ham said postgame. “Just everybody, the dialogue. We get frustrated because we know we could be doing things better.

“The one thing we did, I think it was 6:02 on the clock where LeBron said ‘Come man, whatever is done, is done, this point forward let’s be great. Let’s be great.’ The guys, all of us, everyone over there heard that message and they came out, we had some unfortunate turnovers late.

“We had some unfortunate shots go in on their end, but we just kept going possession by possession next play mentality. Stayed as aggressive as we could and tried to put ourselves in a position to be successful and we were able to do that.”
