D’Angelo Russell played a crucial role for the Lakers in Game 4 against the Grizzlies. With 5 minutes left to play in the fourth quarter, Los Angeles was trailing 90-97, but the point guard made three straight three-pointers to give his team the lead.

The game didn’t end in the fourth quarter though. It went to overtime where the Lakers took care of business and secured the victory 117-111.

Russell finished the game with 17 points and 3 assists in 29 minutes of play. He fouled out with just under 2 minutes left to play in the fourth quarter.

“I’m a Laker fan honestly. I tell my people that,” D-Lo said after the game. “Never been team fan cause you’re actually in it, but to be through a storm and be here again and get to witness some of the things that I got to witness, it’s fair to say that I’m a fan.

“It’s good honestly. They’re treating me really well with open arms, welcoming me since I’ve been here. It’s been a good feeling.”
