Jamal Murray has been one of the top guns for the Nuggets in the first round series against the Timberwolves. After dropping 40 points in Game 2, the 26-year-old point guard scored 18 in Game 3 as Denver increased its lead in the series to 3-0.

Reggie Jackson, who joined the Nuggets in February via a trade from the Clippers, described his new teammate as ‘an assassin,’ saying that Murray is very locked in.

“An assassin,” Jackson said about Murray, via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN. “… [Each time] I saw him, very military-like, locked in … he’s walking out of the tunnel, he doesn’t see anybody. He only has one thing locked on his mind.”

Murray is averaging 27.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 36.7 minutes over three playoff games.
