Sam Cassell is reportedly still sticking around the Philadelphia 76ers for the meantime.

Cassell, who recently received another coaching interest this time from Temple University, decided to remain with the Sixers, per Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Cassell has been receiving significant interest in head coaching jobs around the league for the past few years, but he intends to focus himself on helping the Sixers win the title this 2022-23.

The former league point man, who played 15 seasons in the league and won three titles as a member of the 1994-95 Houston Rockets and 2008 Boston Celtics, has been in Philly for nearly three years as an assistant under Doc Rivers.

The Temple Owls’ basketball program decided to part ways with coach Aaron McKie after three years of partnership.
