The Dallas Mavericks overcame a series of blunders at the end of regulation to beat the San Antonio Spurs 137-128 in overtime Wednesday night without injured Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

After the win over the Spurs, the Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd highlighted some of the positives:

“Yeah, I thought [Christian] Wood was great tonight on both ends and then being able to play through him down the stretch. Before that all took place, I thought [Jaden] Hardy didn’t have a great first half, but came back in the second half and stayed aggressive, got downhill, and [Dwight Powell] cleaned up a lot of those misses.

“If he didn’t clean them up, he got to the free throw line. So, that was big for Hardy. I thought Josh [Green], played him almost the whole game. [He] was able to play both ends of the floor. I thought he did a great job. … Everybody who participated helped us win that game tonight. Again, some mistakes we have to clean up. I thought the group stayed connected even when we were down… “
